One of our faculty members is ready to rumble for a good cause!Our very own instructor of entrepreneurship at College of Charleston School of Business, Sarah Castle, was chosen to be a female boxer in the 2024 Battle on the Bricks competition.
This amateur boxing match is a fundraising outlet for the Warrior Surf Foundation, MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, and the College of Charleston Athletic Fund.
“I boxed about 10 years ago and fell in love with the sport. The speed, functional skills, and conditioning made me a better overall athlete,” shares Castle. “I like to do hard things and, in this case, it’s for three amazing charities.”
Before landing in Charleston, Castle was an Amazon executive who excelled at cultivating high-performing teams and developing strong growth plans for businesses. We are lucky to call her a Cougar, and excited to watch her showcase more of her talent at Battle on the Bricks!
