On September 17, the Global Business Resource Center hosted a packed Mentor Match event, bringing together College of Charleston students and industry professionals for an evening of meaningful connections and global conversations.

People gathered in a spacious lounge with tall glass windows, chatting in small groups near sofas and a coffee table.The event provided students with the opportunity to engage directly with professionals from a wide range of fields, including international business, supply chain, and finance, fostering relationships that support both academic and career growth.

Throughout the evening, attendees exchanged ideas and explored the many opportunities awaiting students now and after graduation. Robert Dixon ’26 reflected, “Being an international business major is perfect for me because it allows me to create global opportunities and a corporate career that isn’t limited to one field or region. It gives me the flexibility to work across cultures, adapt to different markets, and build a career that can take me anywhere in the world.”
