Alan II’s Legacy Golf Invitational – May 19

Alan Shao, professor of marketing and former dean of the School of Business, founded a nonprofit organization named Alan II’s Legacy in memory of his late son, who passed away in 2023. The organization is dedicated to educating and supporting young people and their families on drug addiction prevention, mental health and available treatments.

To further its mission, the nonprofit will host the Alan II’s Legacy Golf Invitational at the Kiawah Island Club River Course on Monday, May 19. The event will include breakfast, a golf tournament, a reception, and a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds go to Alan II’s Legacy Charity and the College’s Collegiate Recovery Program.
