Partnership

This week, I finished up the P3-EDU Fellowship program. It was an excellent opportunity to learn from innovators in the space.

Charleston is uniquely positioned to be successful with public-private partnerships (P3). We have a vibrant business community eager to collaborate to drive innovation and economic growth. The School has a strong track record of engaging with local businesses through various events and initiatives. Additionally, our commitment to interdisciplinary programs and collaboration with other institutions, such as Trident Tech, the Citadel, MUSC, and Charleston Southern, further enhances our ability to create impactful P3 initiatives. With this supportive business environment and our proactive College, Charleston is ready to leverage P3 partnerships to benefit the local economy, our School, and our College.

While a P3 might seem new, it’s important to remember that we’ve been partnering with industry for years. It’s in our DNA. A P3 just formalizes these relationships and takes them to the next level, all in pursuit of a common good. This is one of the most exciting opportunities on our horizon – IMHO.
