Faculty Activity Review (FAR) in INTERFOLIO

The College of Charleston is now using Interfolio’s Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR) system to collect and organize information on faculty accomplishments in teaching, research, and service. This system replaces Watermark (FAS) and will be used for annual reports, accreditation documentation, and promotion & tenure.

✅ What to do now:

• Access Interfolio through MyPortal

• Add your activities: Please upload information for the past five years (2020–2025).

• Check for accuracy: Review imported data and make sure your publications, courses, and service records are complete.

📈 Looking ahead:

The campus goal is for all faculty to have their FAR fully updated by August 2026.
In the School of Business, we’ll begin a campaign in Spring 2026 to encourage 100% participation and provide support along the way.

🎯 Why it matters:
Using FAR will make annual reporting much easier and help us prepare for our AACSB Interim Report, which relies heavily on accurate and consistent faculty activity data.
