Micah Mallace ’07, MBA ’11 Appointed President and CEO of SC Ports

This week, the South Carolina Ports Authority Board of Directors unanimously appointed Micah Mallace ’07 (Supply Chain Management) and MBA ’11 as its next President and CEO.

A Charleston native and current member of the College of Charleston School of Business Board of Governors, Mallace brings extensive experience in maritime and logistics, including a decade at SC Ports where he served as Chief Commercial Officer and helped secure major investments such as Walmart’s import distribution center near the Port of Charleston. Most recently, he led Harbor Logistics as President.

Mallace will deliver his first State of the Port address on October 28, outlining his vision to strengthen SC Ports’ position as a top U.S. container port.
