Charleston School of Business Faculty & Staff Updates

Welcoming Bhoomi Gohil!

The Student Success Center and Global Business Resource Center are elated to share that Bhoomi Gohil will serve as the new Academic Success and Global Studies Advisor effective Wednesday, September 17. She fills the role vacated by Matthew Zittritsch, who accepted a new opportunity at James Madison University.

Bhoomi is a proud 2024 graduate of the College of Charleston School of Business, where she obtained her B.S. in International Business with a minor in International Studies. As part of the requirements for her program, she also studied internationally at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea. As an undergraduate, Bhoomi was significantly involved in the life of the School of Business, serving as a Student Ambassador. Her exceptional service earned her the distinction of Ambassador of the Year in 2024.

After undergrad, Bhoomi’s service continued to the College as the Assistant Head Leader of the SPECTRA (Speedy Consolidation and Transition) program, designed to help first-year first-generation students in their transition to college.

As a team member in the Student Success Center, Bhoomi will serve as the primary advisor for International Business as well as study abroad (for any Business major). She will also partner regularly with the Global Business Resource Center and the Center for International Education on a variety of initiatives to promote global learning.

Welcome back, Bhoomi!
