Department of Accounting and Business Law Celebrates a Successful Year

To celebrate reaching the final stretch of the Spring 2025 semester and surviving tax season, the Department of Accounting and Business Law hosted a night of food and fun at the Riverdogs Stadium on Wednesday, 4/16! Despite the disappointing loss, the event received an excellent turnout, drawing participation from the staff, students, and alumni in the area.

With the 4/15 deadline still fresh on everyone’s mind, the game was filled with fun trivia questions taxing the audience’s knowledge of worldwide historical and current financial regulations. Special attention was also given to the attending department through a pitch televised throughout the arena, presented by none other than the department’s own Thomas Spade!

The department has been full of accomplishments this school year, including our Mu Beta branch of Beta Alpha Psi reaching the Gold standard, welcoming many new students to the department through our Rising Stars event, and continuing to grow the network of active professionals through alumni graduating the program and going into the field.

The Department of Accounting and Business Law wishes everyone a great finals season and summer! Congratulations on making it through the 2024-2025 academic year.
