MBA Candidate Earns Volleyball Academic All-America Honors
College of Charleston middle blocker Caitlyn Callahan was named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Volleyball Academic All-America Third Team.
Callahan has a 4.0 grade point average while pursuing a master’s degree in business administration. She is the first CAA volleyball student-athlete to earn Academic All-America honors since 2019.
The All-CAA First Team selection produced a career year with the Cougars, registering a .388 attacking percentage and 155 blocks in 124 sets. The graduate student out of Wellsboro, Pa., averaged 2.43 kills and 1.25 blocks per set, helping CofC set a program record with 348 total stuffs in 2024.
