Living Our Values

I feel most inspired when we do good work together to live out our core values—pursuing purpose, investing in relationships, and focusing on outcomes. This week, I saw these values come to life in the most extraordinary way through our EMBA program.

The first residency week of the EMBA program was nothing short of transformative. (Special thank you to student ambassador Elizabeth Clarke for her recap.) And that’s not just because I think so. But because we heard so firsthand from a student.

Carrie received a glowing voice memo from one of our new EMBA students. She expressed her deep gratitude for the feedback and insights she’s gained this week, sharing how the material influenced her leadership approach. She’s already planning to implement changes in her leadership style, and the program has just begun. Wow! What an impact we have on our students. What a privilege.

EMBA is a powerful testament to the impact of focusing on our core values. The program was created and instilled with purpose. It is consistent with our other outstanding programs that invest in relationships, and the outcomes are already clear. So, as you start the new semester/year, I encourage you to think about your purpose and how you contribute to our shared purpose – how you can invest in meaningful relationships while focusing on not just how we’ve always done things but the outcomes that matter.
