Please consider adding the 9th German American Business Summit on Wednesday, February 12th, to your syllabi. And if you are holding class during the event on that Wednesday, it could serve as a destination for your entire course for the day! The event will be held at the Francis Marion Hotel (387 King Street). Tentative agenda:
10:30am-12:30pm: Job and Internship Expo for students with German-American companies located in the Lowcountry and our region including Mercedes-Benz Vans, BMW, IFA, Ingenics Consulting, Mankiewicz Coatings, and more.
1-2:30pm: Panel: Soft Skills, Hard Results: The Human Advantage in the Age of AI
2:30-3:15pm: Networking event (a second chance to interact with the companies from the job fair!)
3:15-4:30: Panel: Trends and Challenges in Manufacturing: How to Navigate the Current Market
4:45-6:00: Reception for industry leaders, faculty, and members of the community
