Next Week – Homecoming
The College has a new tradition – Homecoming. It’s a vibrant celebration of community, connection, and Cougar pride. This soon-to-be annual event is a unique opportunity for us to bring together alums, students, faculty, and friends in a series of meaningful activities. Here’s what we have to look forward to.
Reconnecting and Networking
One of the highlights of Homecoming is the chance for alums to reconnect with the College and each other. The School of Business will host an event, Business and Brunch (RSVP here), on Saturday, November 16, from 10 am to 12 pm. This gathering allows alums to catch up with former classmates, meet current students, and engage with faculty. It’s a perfect blend of walking down memory lane and networking, fostering relationships that can lead to new opportunities and collaborations.
Celebrating Achievements
It will also be a time to celebrate the achievements of the School of Business and its community. We will take the time to celebrate the accomplishments of our impressive business school graduates, Cheryll Novak Woods-Flowers ’81 and Otis Robinson ’90, at the Alumni Awards ceremony.
Building Community
Sporting events like the Tailgate and Pep Rally and the Men’s Basketball Game against Florida Atlantic University will bring together the CofC community to celebrate school pride.
Creating Lasting Memories
Homecoming is a chance to create lasting memories and traditions. Events like the Homecoming Parade and the Homecoming Carnival will foster a sense of belonging and school spirit.

I hope you can attend a few events to be reminded about the great things happening at the College.
