Chris Mothorpe Selected for Inaugural President’s Leadership Institute Cohort

Congratulations to Chris Mothorpe, chair of the Economics department, on being selected for the inaugural cohort of the President’s Leadership Institute (PLI)!

In alignment with the College’s strategic plan, Pillar III, which emphasizes employee experience and success, the university administration has established the PLI to cultivate leadership, foster connections, and promote innovation among the College’s staff and faculty.

Throughout the 2024-25 academic year, PLI participants will engage in eight sessions led by senior leadership team members. These sessions will cover a range of topics, including strategic planning and leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, financial administration, fundraising, and the academic, student, and employee experiences.
