Great Outcomes
Part of Monday’s FAC meeting focused on our upcoming AACSB visit. I was talking about the obstacles we’ve faced the last five years, and several members (Roxane, Frank, & Steve in particular) called me out (that’s what I like about this group). They reminded me that despite the challenges, the School of Business Team has remained focused on our outcomes (Student Success, Academic Distinction, & Employee Success). We’ve not skipped a beat. Our students/graduates continue to make an impact, we’ve developed new programs and strengthened existing ones, and we’ve looked for ways to invest in our people. Our mission is too critical.
As we prepare for our AACSB Peer Review Team visit, we should all take the advice of our wise colleagues. Sure, we’ve faced challenges in the last five years. Thanks to COVID, all schools have. We’ve focused on achieving excellent outcomes together and have much to be proud of. You have played a critical part in this journey, and we have an opportunity to share our great story with others so they can return to their institutions encouraged and inspired.
Finally, to me this is indicative that we’ve identified the values that differentiate us. Together we, pursue purpose, invest in relationships, and focus on outcomes.
YOU make a difference!
Ponder this with me ….
