MS in Accountancy Introduces Direct Admission Program
The Master of Science in Accountancy program is excited to introduce a direct admission program for current students majoring in accounting. This unique program is designed for qualified students who have shown a strong academic performance in their undergraduate coursework while at the College.
As a direct admission candidate, students benefit from:
- Waived application fees
- Expedited admission process
- Personalized academic advising
After completing 90-credit hours, students earning a cumulative 3.0 in the general education and accounting major coursework (with no C’s in ACCT courses) are invited to apply to the MS in Accountancy program. Upon submission, these students are guaranteed acceptance into the program for the Fall 2025 entry term.
Students must maintain their current academic standards through graduation to matriculate the following Fall. Failure to do so will result in an additional review by the program director that may include rescinding the initial decision.
Questions about the direct admission program can be sent to Seaton at brownms@cofc.edu or accountancy@cofc.edu.
