New publication acceptance for Kelley Cours Anderson and co-authors

Congratulations to Kelley Cours Anderson, assistant professor of marketing, on the acceptance of her latest article “Subordinated Service Environments: How Branding Can Create Unintentional Service Exclusion” in Journal of Services Marketing.

Did you know that Women control 80% of healthcare spending decisions yet they often don’t get the healthcare service they need (Deloitte, 2023)?

In their forthcoming article in the Journal of Services Marketing, Anderson and her co-authors [Deidre Popovich, Kelli Frias, Ph.D., & Mikaela Trussell] unpack the risks of exclusionary sub-branding practices that lead to a subordinated service environment, where patients and providers feel they don’t belong. They discuss ways healthcare systems and policymakers can design more supportive environments and support women’s health and well-being.
