A discussion about addiction, overdose, and treatment

Our colleague Alan Shao, former dean of the School of Business, has started a nonprofit organization, Alan II’s Legacy, to honor his late son whom he lost last year. All proceeds go toward drug overdose awareness and prevention and will help create education programs in middle schools, high schools and colleges.

The nonprofit will host the Alan II’s Legacy Golf Invitational at the River Course on Kiawah Island on December 9, with a welcome reception and silent auction the day before. Read more about the work Alan is doing:
