Professional Clothing Drive
The Center for Civic Engagement is partnering with the Center for Sustainable Development and Career Center to host a professional clothing drive for a Cougar Free Store Pop-up Event that will be held on 4/1. We are asking you to donate your gently used professional clothing now through March 29th. The Professional Clothing Pop-up is designed to outfit students for award ceremonies, interviews, internships, the job market and help them build their professional wardrobe. Please give back and help the Cougars dress for success!
What?
We are accepting donations of gently used professional clothing such as belts, blouses, dresses, dress shirts, jackets, scarves, shoes, jewelry, skirts, etc. to help Cougars look their best!
When?
Donations are being collected now through March 29, 2024. The on-campus pop-event where students can select free professional clothing and learn about inclusive professional attire from Career Center staff will take place on Monday 4/1 from 11:00am – 2:00pm on Cougar Mall. The clothing will then be moved to the Cougar Free Store (207 Calhoun St in the Center for Sustainable Development) for students to access year-round.
Where?
Donation collection bins are located in the following offices across campus. The business school has collection bin located right at the front doors of the Beatty Center.
We hope you’ll participate!
