PhD Project Application Open to Students
The PhD project is an initiative that encourages Black/African Americans, Latinx/Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans to pursue their PhDs in business to serve as role models and mentors for underrepresented business students.
The PhD Project conference is March 21-22, 2024 in Chicago; Students can apply to attend the conference. The PhD Project covers the cost of registration, travel, hotel, and conference expenses. If a School of Business student is selected to attend, we will cover the costs of a few expenses not covered (e.g., extra transportation and food expenses).
To be eligible to apply, students must be:
- Black/African American, Latinx/Hispanic American or Native American
- A U.S. citizen, permanent U.S. resident, or DACA recipient
- In his/her senior year of college by the time they attend the conference (or already possess an undergraduate degree).
