ROI & Student Success
Seeing all the movement on campus and hearing the engagement is extraordinary. I am continually amazed at how you do what you do. We are a school of business at a public institution, and we’ve learned to leverage our resources. Then, when we think we can’t leverage them anymore, we do. And still, we provide an excellent ROI. Sure, it’s a significant Return on Investment, but it’s an even better Return on the Individual. Thinking about this, I recall reading a Chronicle of Higher Education report that addressed student success. I’ve included a screenshot below:
As we look around, we see all three of these happening regularly at CofC. You excite students about learning, mentor and encourage them to pursue their dreams and care about them as individuals. You are investing in your students’ future, and it is making an impact. You take the time to get to know a bit about them and to encourage them.
As the semester begins, I’ve seen great examples of how you flat-out care about them – as individuals.
I applaud what you do. This ROI doesn’t happen by accident, and it doesn’t happen without you. I believe that our focus on the Return on the “Individual” (aka relation-based education) will pay dividends as we continue to share our story and pursue becoming a category of one.
YOU make a difference.
