Josette Pelzer Appointed Faculty Fellow by Academic Affairs
Effective June 1, 2023, Josette Pelzer, assistant professor of accounting for the Department of Accounting and Business Law, will serve as a faculty fellow in the Office of the Provost. During her one-year renewable appointment, she will lead and collaborate on various projects that fall under Academic Affairs.
Pelzer was selected alongside Kate Owens, associate chair and senior instructor for the Department of Mathematics.
Both Pelzer and Owens were selected based on their commitment to learning and professional growth. They both have participated in campus-wide committees and projects, and have a desire to improve our students’ academic experience.
“I am excited to welcome our two faculty fellows, and the associate provosts and I look forward to working with them,” says Suzanne Austin, executive vice president of Academic Affairs and provost. “The faculty fellows will work on projects and conduct research while gaining knowledge and experience about Academic Affairs operations and services.”
