Celebrate!

One thing I learned quickly; Charleston knows how to celebrate. It was great to see everyone at last week’s EOY Business Bash, to celebrate the completion of another year and our incredible colleagues. If you couldn’t attend, check out this post recognizing our award recipients. I am always impressed by the work you do and the way you do it.

Then it was great to meet people at the Piazza Prowl, Schottland Scholar Alumni Brunch, and A Charleston Affair. We are blessed.

This week we celebrate our graduates. In the School of Business, we will recognize:

• 358 Undergraduate Students
• 22 Business Honor Students
• 49 MBA Students
• 12 MS in Accountancy Students

Each number represents a life you changed. They are why we do what we do.

Please join us for the awards ceremony on Friday at 2 p.m. and Saturday for the reception immediately following commencement.

Then our attention turns to summer. I hope you find time to relax and refresh. It always goes quickly, but next year brings more reasons to celebrate and we will look to celebrate your great work more regularly.
