Guttentag Selected as Fulbright U.S. Scholar

Assistant professor of hospitality Daniel Guttentag has been named a Fulbright U.S. scholar for 2023-24, one of the most esteemed academic accolades in the world.

Guttentag’s research project will investigate how effectively Panamanian indigenous tourism enterprises harness technology (websites, social media, reservation software, etc.) and identify potential barriers hindering their effective use of technology. While conducting research, he will spend time in various communities representing different indigenous groups and provide training on tourism technology.

ISAE University will host Guttentag, where he will teach classes and assist with student thesis advising.
