Full-time vs Part-time Status:  A minimum of 12.0 credit hours is considered full-time enrollment for undergraduate students. Be careful about dropping or withdrawing from courses which take your total enrollment hours below this minimum, as your financial aid and health insurance could possibly be affected.

You can check for any registration holds using the Academic Services tab in MyCharleston.  Look for the Registration Tools channel and click by clicking on the Registration Status link.  Only the department who placed the hold can remove it from your account.   If you have a hold and need to drop or withdraw from a class (by the appropriate deadline), please contact the Registrar’s Office for assistance BEFORE THE DEADLINE at registrar@cofc.edu! Requests after the deadline are not eligible for processing.

One Stop Answers:  Visit our One Stop Answers for Common Student Requests web page for additional questions and answers.
