The cast of “A Good Dream” have fun on and off the stage.Freshman Kyleigh Petersen says that her favorite part of the rehearsal process was “being able to meet and dance with people I have never met before, and being able to strengthen my jazz skills!” Kyleigh says it was a privilege “to be coached by such a wonderful teacher.” She has enjoyed being able to push herself artistically in the jazz genre.
Choreographer Jessica Cerovic took a unique stance on the idea of sustainability. “Instead of picking one issue, the piece focuses on what this world would look like if all of these issues were solved…can it really be possible and become a reality?” She hopes to show the audience that CofC has a strong jazz dance presence within the program through this light-hearted, feel-good piece.Freshman Maggie Howe shows off her athleticism and performance quality in this high-energy jazz piece.
