Hello freshman parents! As you know, your students will be taking on internships beginning in the spring semester, but before they do, they must be cleared to work by the CofC Career Center. And, they must be cleared before they leave for winter break.
In order to be cleared, students must do the following:
1. Complete the Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) Form and bring the necessary supporting documentation with them to campus.
- Student must have either one (1) selection from List A or a combination of one (1) selection from List B and one (1) selection from List C.
- Supporting documents MUST be originals. The Career Center will not accept copies.
2. Attend New Student Employee Orientation on November 27 with their completed I-9 forms and supporting documents.
