June 12: CofC closing at 4PM

Due to the threat of severe weather forecasted to affect the region later this afternoon/early evening, the College of Charleston will close early at 4:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, June 12, 2019, following a closure notice from the Charleston County government. This affects all classes, library hours and all campus activities after 4:00 p.m.

Residence halls and dining services will remain open.

College officials will continue to monitor weather conditions and will update the campus community, if necessary, via CougarAlert regarding any further changes to the College’s operations and work schedule.

The College will resume its normal operating schedule on Thursday, June 13, 2019.
