The next shot, in the town square, is a far wide angle along with a high shot from above. The way this next shot is filmed makes the audience feel as if they are bystanders watching, gathering information. The gif is subtitled “Don’t let yourself be provoked”, spoken by Rull to his fellow classmates. This scene, to many, is very powerful. It shows the beginnings of a protest being formed. This film has an overarching theme of breaking through authoritarian structures. The symbol in the middle of the square is also slightly off-centered, possibly showing that the ideas behind this symbol are skewed. At the end of the gif you can see the two lines, students, and police. In just a few seconds, so much is shown through themes and deeper meanings.
