I started using Evernote after a recent faculty technology institute (FTI) workshop here at C of C.  I tried using the Evernote Firefox add-on this morning, and it wouldn’t let me log in to clip a page: it repeatedly said that my user name and password were invalid, even though I’d logged in to the evernote web site just fine in a browser window.  Turns out, you need to enable some sort of cross-site cookie. Go to preferences, privacy.  I happen to have enabled custom privacy settings, which puts a lot of extra controls in this screen, and among other things, I have it set to reject certain cookies.  To fix Evernote’s add-on, you go to Exceptions and tell it to allow cookies from evernote.com.  Now everything works.
