The significance for this meme is foreshadowing the ultimate showdown between Shosanna and Colonel Landa. Landa had no idea what Shosanna would go through in order to get her revenge on the Colonel. Had he actually chased after and killed her, there would be no movie. The Colonel and Shosanna are the two most important characters in the film due to this event, that creates the tension and the action throughout the movie. I chose to juxtapose the ending with the beginning of the film in this meme, as this is very important in Tarantino film making. He often directly connects the beginning of his films to the ending of them, such as Pulp Fiction.
