The College of Charleston’s and The Citadel’s chapters of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, are co-sponsoring their 7th annual S.C. Spanish Teacher of the Year Program. Dr. Mark P. Del Mastro, Chair of Hispanic Studies, is Founding Director of the program. Dr. Marianne Verlinden, CofC Chapter Adviser, and Professors Sara Medina and Zane Segle, Citadel Chapter Advisers, serve on the S.C. Spanish Teacher of the Year Board along with student chapter presidents Dylan Kornegay (CofC) and Anthony Garcia (The Citadel).
