Melissa Huber has been selected as a finalist for the Lionel Pearson Fellowship, a one-year fellowship which allows for study at an English or Scottish university.

The Pearson Fellowship is the top national honor bestowed on an undergraduate by the American Philological Association.  Melissa is one of four national finalists for the award.  She will be flown out to San Antonio for final interviews during the APA Conference in January.  Melissa is the first College of Charleston student to make it to the final round of competition.
