Patrick N. Lynch, 1817-1882

Irish and Irish American Studies committee member Stephen White launched his new biography of Patrick Lynch, the third Catholic bishop of the Charleston diocese, with lectures at several venues this Spring, beginning with the College of Charleston’s Addlestone Library.  (The late David Heisser co-authored the book.)  Last month White spoke at The Citadel, and with gratitude to that school we post a link to their video of the event.  If you did not have a chance to see his lecture live, take a look here.
