The S.C. Sea Grant Consortium is now accepting applications for their Community Engaged Internship (CEI) Program for Summer 2024!
Details: This is a PAID summer internship program for undergraduate students. CEIs are designed to provide opportunities for undergraduate students from underserved communities to conduct summer community-based projects that focus on community environmental and resilience needs.
CEI Projects for Summer 2024 Include:
- Documenting the Social Perceptions of Thin Layer Placement (TLP)
- Gullah/Geechee CREATE: Marine Debris to Art Conversion Project
- Documenting Oral Histories and Traditional Uses of Non-Plastic Alternatives in the Marine Environment
- Conducting Community Outreach for the Lowcountry NETwork Trawl to Trash Program
