The Lonon Foundation is currently seeking volunteers for the Spring 2023 semester.

The Lonon Foundation is an organization that provides support to children and families who have been impacted by a caregiver or parent’s cancer diagnosis in any capacity (new diagnosis, currently in treatment, currently in remission, relapse, or death from cancer).

Volunteering for the Lonon Foundation includes monthly meetings with College of Charleston student volunteers and monthly events interacting with the children and families the Lonon foundation is supporting!

This is a great opportunity to earn volunteer hours and learn strategies for how to engage with children who have experienced a traumatic event and will engage in activities that are most suited for the child
