This Thursday, September 12 @ 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Center, School of Education, Paul Horwitz will give the Constitution Day Lecture entitled “Honor, the Oath, and the Constitution“.
Professor Horwitz has written widely on legal and constitutional issues focusing on the religion clauses of the Constitution. There will also be a discussion on Thursday at 3:15 p.m. in Arnold Hall, “The Agnostic Age: Law, Religion and the Constitution”. His new project asks what meaning the republican idea of a constitutional oath has for legislators and judges in our current political culture.
