Adjunct professor Kristin Halvorson on her work with the Journal of the American Research Center in Egypt

Adjunct professor Kristin Halvorson is an Egyptologist who covers 3,000+ years of the ancient Egyptian world in her very popular 115 course “Egypt and Its Neighbors.”

We recently spoke with Kristin about her work with the Journal of the American Research Center in Egypt. She had this to say:

“I was honored to have been asked to be the assistant editor of the Journal of the American Research Center in Egypt for Vol. 54. It sure was a learning experience. The editor, who had been doing it for years, passed away suddenly. The newly chosen editing team had to scramble with extremely short deadlines in order to get the volume to the printer in time for it to be published. Normally, one would have a year to work on it and we got it done in approximately 4 months!”

Congratulations on a job well done, Kristin!
