The Filth Disease comes out this November

Associate professor Jacob Steere-Williams has a new book coming out this November called The Filth Disease: Typhoid Fever and the Practices of Epidemiology in Victorian England.

With a scholarly focus on the history of disease and medicine, Dr. Steere-Williams teaches our popular ‘Epidemics and Revolutions’ course and is the director of our graduate program. He had this to say about his forthcoming book:
