Dr. Rachel Donaldson, a public historian and historic preservationist, recently led her students in creating a tour of sites relating to slavery and its legacies at the College and in nearby neighborhoods.
>
Each student worked closely with Dr. Donaldson to research 3-5 sites. Their essays were grouped into tours under such themes as oppression, sites of agency, care and community, fellowship, and resistance.
>
Currently the tour is being reviewed and will be published on the College’s Curatescape site this winter. You can check out some of the sites in the slideshow below!
