The college’s First -Year Experience (FYE) is an academic program designed to integrate new students into college life. Each year freshmen are asked to recognize faculty, staff or students who made a difference in their lives during the first year. The 2012-2013 First Year Service Award in History was awarded to Assistant Professor, Tammy Ingram. Students expressed thanks to all for supporting them at the start of their college years.
