  2. Create digital file with important documents: passport, medical information and vax card, credit card information, share with family/trusted loved ones
  3. Do NOT overpack. Checked bags in local airlines can be close to $85. Max weight is 50 lbs. You can buy a portable baggage scale for $10.
  4. Have a portable charger+-$20 and a European Travel Plug adapter +-10 with you 24/7.
  5. Reusable water bottle 🙂
  6. A card with the destination address/phone numbers and a digital place to store it (do not just rely on your phone).
  7. Plane ticket dates: Leave the US on May 16th, so you can plan to arrive in the morning of May 17th. Come back on June 4th (not earlier because we will be on a island until the day before). Never get to a foreign country after hours. Try not to leave too early. Time between hotel and airport is about 45 min (depending on traffic can go way more than this), taking Metro is about 1 hour.
  8. Send a text message to Dr. Quesada with your preferred first name so we can add you to the “Whatsapp” group. Make sure to download the app in your phone. You can share this information with your family so they can contact me in case of emergency only and they were not able to contact you (843-860-6682).
  9. Complete ACG forms as soon as possible, be a quick responder of anything we ask!
  10. CIE Scholarship deadline February 14th: Between $500 and $2000

  12. You are automatically entered to receive $1,250 (declared SB majors), $750 (declared SB minors) or $450 (all others). Qualifying students will be notified of their award amount. After the notification, all you need to do is sign and return a scholarship agreement form.
