MONDAY JUNE 5th

8 am-8pm: 3 Island Trip with Lunch Cruise

Remember the Interview with a local! Instructions are in OAKS assignments. It has to be in one of the island trips or in Mycenae.

From tour operator: We advise you to wear light-coloured comfortable clothes and shoes. Please do not forget to bring on your swimming suit, towels and even more importantly, please bring the summer essentials, such as sunscreen protection, sunglasses, head cover or any other items you might require to make the most of your day.

Please feel free to bring your own snorkelling equipment or decent size water accessories and toys. We provide water, lunch, and drinks on board, but you can bring your own favorite drinks and snacks if you wish so. Also, you can change into your swimsuit on board.

SUNDAY JUNE 4

Mycenae (9 am to 7:30 pm)

  • Pick up time: 9 am
  • We will be in the same bus all the tour so we can leave stuff in the bus
  • Pickup Location: Hondos Center
  • Comfortable shoes!! Im wearing tennis shoes
  • Lunch included dinner on your own

SATURDAY JUNE 3

FRIDAY JUNE 2

12:30-2:30pm: Class at ACG (Library Room 9)

Homework before 11:59 pm on Saturday June 3rd: Assignment description is in the Power Point Presentation above (slide 15).

  • Choose a partner and:

–Find a company that has received the Cradle-to-Cradle certification

–Use a sticky note to let us know the name of the company that you will research and the name of the two members in your group (there is only one group of 3)

–Create a two-page summary of the company and their accomplishments in sustainability (clear examples of their efforts), create a four slide presentation and get ready to present!

–Submit both documents in OAKS OAKS Grades>Assignments> Cradle-to-Cradle Certified Presentation/Essay

 

 

THURSDAY JUNE 8

Taxis from hotel cost about 35 euros in normal hours and 50 euros after midnight or very early. You must keep cash for this because they don’t accept credit cards. You can share to lower costs. It’s better to arrange with the hotel the night before. Just for general information, Dr. Quesada’s flight leaves at 10:20 am so I will leave the hotel very early that morning.

WEDNESDAY MAY 31

1-5 pm: Class at ACG (AC001)

Reviewed Ch.1. And played the Beer game up to week 25. Teams are now creating data visualizations for each station and a summary of how they did as a supply chain.

THURSDAY JUNE 1

8:45-12pm: Class at ACG (Room 9 Library)

Homework: Create a single power point where you show data visualizations that we can use to analyze each station and the supply chain as a whole. Upload it in OAKS under Assignments. Read Chapter 6. We will cover it in class tomorrow and we will take a quiz on Chapter 1 at the beginning of class and a quiz on Chapter 6 at the end.
