The Master of Environmental Studies Student Association (MESSA) is hosting the 9th Annual 8K for H2O on Saturday, February 19. All proceeds from the race benefit Charleston Waterkeeper, a local nonprofit organization working to “preserve and protect the integrity of Charleston’s waterways by defending against pollution and contamination.”
The race starts at 9:00 a.m. on East Arctic Avenue on Folly Beach, rain or shine. The registration fee is $25, but College of Charleston students can receive a $5 discount. C of C student organizations with at least five runners will receive $10 off the registration fee.
