If you’re ready for a party, you won’t have to wait long. Next Saturday, College of Charleston students, alumni, faculty and staff will gather in the Cistern Yard for the annual Alumni Association gala. A Charleston Affair is a three-hour event complete with food, drinks and a live band, and is always a great time. The Graduate School will have a presence again this year, and you’ll know who and where we are. We’ll be the ones rockin’ the glow bracelets. Be sure to find Niki and she’ll give you a bracelet or three of your own.
As for tickets, this Friday is the last day you can purchase them at their current price. If you don’t have the chance to get them before Friday, that’s fine. You can pick up a pair at the door, but for a price tag of $120.
However, for two very lucky graduate students, we are giving away two tickets to this year’s A Charleston Affair. The stipulation is that you must be a College of Charleston graduate student currently enrolled in a graduate-level class. The first two graduate students to bring a copy of Dean Amy McCandless’ book and their Cougar Card to The Graduate School Office will leave with a ticket to A Charleston Affair.
Best of luck and enjoy A Charleston Affair!
