Are you graduting in May? Submit your application.

From PhDComics.com

It took a lot to get to this point, but you’re nearly finished with your master’s degree. Congratulations! Before you walk across the stage in May, remember to submit your application to graduate. If you missed the email from Regan, all the steps you need to complete are below. Be aware that the application deadline is Friday, February 11. After this deadline, you must come to the Graduate School Office (310 Randolph Hall) to complete a paper application. Since this will be after the deadline, you will be charged a $25 late fee, bringing the total amount due to $50. Applying late can delay your diploma being ordered, your degree being posted, your diploma arriving, and you walking in the ceremony. So, in short, be sure to apply before February 11.

After you apply, you will receive emails regarding regalia and announcement deadlines and ceremony information. Remember to check your Edisto email regularly, as this is where those emails will be sent. For updated information on important deadlines, visit the graduation page on our website.

To access the application page on MyCharleston, follow the below steps. If you have questions, please contact Regan Fantry.

  1. Logging into MyCharleston
  2. Click on Academic Services Tab
  3. Click on Self Service Banner
  4. Click on Student Records
  5. Click on Apply to Graduate
  6. DO NOT use the selection “undecided” regarding ceremony attendance.  Please pick either yes or no.  You can always email me to change your decision at any point in the semester.
