I’ve often heard that teaching is a calling. It’s a vocation which provides an opportunity to move our nation forward by educating its future leaders, and everyone remembers the one or two special teachers that truly impacted their lives. With all the changes in technology and the increased interest in single-gender education, it’s an exciting time to lead a classroom.
Last year, the College of Charleston’s School of Education, Health and Human Performance hosted The Pathways to Teaching open house, and they are doing so again this year. If you’ve entertained the idea of becoming a teacher, you will want to join us on Monday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the College of Charleston North Campus. Located just ½ a mile off I-526, you will find us and plenty of parking at 5300 International Boulevard, Building B.
During the open house, you will hear stories about the impact that teaching has had on some of our educators. You will also learn about the programs we offer on campus at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and the various financial aid resources available to you.
Be sure to let us know you plan to attend! For more information and to register, visit us at go.cofc.edu/pathways.
