Hey students – in case you missed the email that was delivered to your Edisto email account, you may want to pay attention to the note below sent by Parking Services. Also, if you’re not checking your Edisto account on at least a weekly basis, you should add that to your list of resolutions for 2010.
Students with Fall 2009 garage permits (AG, GG, PG & WG): your gate card will remain active through Friday 12/18/09. All Fall 2009 student gate cards will be deactivated on Saturday 12/19/09.
All students: There will be a few student parking areas available from Thursday 12/17/09 through Sunday 1/10/10. Please read the following information very carefully:
G Lot = This lot will be available from Thursday 12/17/09 through Sunday 1/10/10. Please note that the spaces in the G Lot marked “reserved for physicians” will be ticketed.
H Lot = This lot will be available from Thursday 12/17/09 through Sunday 1/10/10. Vehicles must be parked in a space in front of a concrete bumper blocker.
P Lot = This lot will be available from Thursday 12/17/09 through Sunday 1/10/10. Vehicles must be parked in a legitimate space between two white lines.
W Lot = This lot will be available from Thursday 12/17/09 through Sunday 1/10/10. Please note that you may only park in the spaces at the rear of the lot that do not have red concrete bumpers.
WP Lot = This lot will be available from Thursday 12/17/09 through Sunday 1/10/10. Vehicles must be parked in a legitimate space between two white lines, and not blocking in any other vehicles.
Normal enforcement and ticketing in all student lots will resume at 8:00 AM on Monday, 1/11/2010. If you are unsure of the locations of the available lots, please check out our College of Charleston: Parking Map.
All faculty/staff lots will be subject to normal permit regulations and will be ticketed.
For new students…
Parking permits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Wednesday, January 6. You will need to bring a photo ID and vehicle registration to Parking Services located on St. Philip and Calhoun Streets during normal business hours.
