Hey y’all!
Just wanted to drop a quick, personal note before I hit the road again for my recruiting adventures. I’m just now finishing up my review of all the meetings I had over the last two weeks at University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Davidson, Winthrop and Columbia College. Whew! After being on College of Charleston’s small campus, it’s always refreshing to get lost among the crowds at universities like Tennessee. Or to walk around an all-women’s campus like Columbia College and watch a woman give kickboxing classes to a male friend. Each university has its own personality, and I think that’s one of the top three things I love most about my fall travels. The other two are making new acquaintances with faculty, staff and students, and all the driving I do. If I missed you over the last week, drop me a line and I’ll make sure to touch base with you and send some of our nifty goodies your way. And trust me, we have some cool give-aways like glow-in-the-dark cups!
Anyway, I’m leaving tomorrow to visit with faculty at Elon University and then to talk with students at the North Carolina Opt-Ed Alliance Day. Then next week I’m off to visit faculty at Newberry College, and then to attend Graduate and Professional School Fairs at Appalachian State University, Presbyterian College, Furman University, Wofford College and Converse College.
