Last week, poet and musician, Kevin Simmonds read to a packed house in Towell Library for the first Crazyhorse Reading Series. His poems centered on questions of identity and sexuality and on family dynamics and history. His reading mixed poetry with music, with his close friend Valetta accompanying his verse with her singing. It was a night that set our ears ablaze and made the stars shine a little brighter.
