On April 12, CofC Senior English major and Creative Writing concentrator Blake Hoffmeyer read alongside award-winning poet Brian Turner at Charleston Library Society as part of the Poetry Society of South Carolina poetry series. After the reading, both men answered questions about poetry and about their experiences as veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
